Graphistudio – Italian Photobook Wedding Album

Graphistudio is has been making wedding album in Italy as the first wedding photobook producer since 1997. They combine the uniqueness of hand binding with more than sixty steps to the whole production process! Each photobook album is created to last for many many generations, preserving the photographic memories and retaining its shape & colours. The album comes as standard with a printed dust jacket and hard back cover. Here are some images of my Graphistudio sample albums which are viewable at the pre-wedding consultation.

There are 3 different parent album packages that Graphistudio offer, detailed below:

Sizes

Cover

The Graphistudio album is 8″ x 8″ (20cm x 20cm) square format for Main Albums. If you wanted to add a Parent Copy (or two) then these are available in a package deal (see below) The main covers of the album are traditional book bound linen cover which gives the whole album a sturdy feel. The image that you see in the images is printed onto photographic paper and is then made into a dust jacket and wrapped around the linen covers. This is of course removable if you wanted a subtle plain linen wedding album.

Parent Copies

Paper

Graphistudio offer a very affordable package deal for parent copies. You have a choice of 4x copies 4″x4″ (10cm x 10cm), 2x copies 6″x6″ (15cm x 15cm) or 1x copy 8″x8″ (20cm x 20cm) – each formation costs exactly the same price. These are great for parents, grandparents, relatives or to simply have a few spare copies. One thing with parent copies is they must be ordered at the same time as the main album (as Graphistudio use the same files and simply shrink them down). The images of the main album in the slideshow show the beautiful textured paper option. There are other paper options: Standard ‘Photographic’ paper, ‘Metallic’ which adds a a slightly 3d element to colours and lastly ‘Smooth’ which is a simple matt crisp paper. It is quite hard to show the difference between paper types on a screen, so I have a swatch of all paper types available for viewing (and of course TOUCHING!) at your pre-wedding meeting.

Lay Flat

These albums (as with all of our albums) make use of a lay flat binding technique allowing images to be printed over the centre without losing any of the image in the crease (which we think is pretty cool!). The binding guarantees a ‘Life Long Durability’ and allows the pages in the book to lay perfectly flat at 180 degrees. This allows you / us to be creative and make full use of the double spread when designing your album.
