Wedding Photography Made Simple
We think pricing should be simple, upfront, and shouldn’t dictate what you should or shouldn’t have (it’s YOUR wedding after all – we treat each wedding differently, because who’s wedding is the same?). To top it off we don’t pressure you into any decision about booking, payment or albums (or try to sell you a million different add ons!). We are about Simplicity. 2 well rounded packages; Half Day & Full Day coverage. Whichever you choose, we’ll help you tell your story through beautiful images.
Full Day Coverage
We love print
We absolutely love to see photographs – real photographs – on paper! There is nothing better than reliving your wedding day through real images you can feel and touch be that in one of one of our beautiful albums, a box of prints or framed images. There something so special about the printed image that is sadly being lost in the digital age. Somewhere between sending off a digital file to the ink hitting the page of of an album or the paper of a photographic print – a memory is made! We understand that not everybody wants an album, but all we ask is that you do consider it as an option and allow us to show you our samples. The worst you can say is No – we don’t mind!
Below is the selection of Albums & Products that we currently offer. Click on the image to have a read about each Album / Product and find out why we have chosen it to offer to you. There’s the Folio Album (We think it’s the most beautiful album ever, made from eco friendly materials), the Contemporary Album (a simple yet modern wedding photo book) and our Wedding Image CD Folio cases.
When it comes to wedding photography prices, we understand it can be easy to simply look at the numbers. It can be difficult to compare pricing and whats on offer, with some photographers not displaying their prices, some are more expensive than others and we all offer different things. Below, we have answered what we believe to be the main questions when it comes to pricing.
Why are you more expensive than ABC Photography?:
It is a common question encountered by many wedding photographer’s, and a very valid one. It is down to many factors but the main one’s are: Experience, Style, Hours of Coverage and Quality of Products Included. You need to know you can rely on your wedding photographer – there are no second chances, if they miss the shot – they’ve missed the shot! We don’t do this as a hobby, Chris has a BA Hons degree in Photography, and we both several years of experience as a wedding photographer and have learnt from several of the North West’s finest Wedding Photographers to get to what you see before you today. We use the best top end Canon Professional equipment to achieve images of the highest quality, accompanied by backup equipment to ensure nothing will hinder us recording your wedding day. We are also fully insured for Public Liability (damage to venues and / or injury to your guests due to us being there NOTE: some venues require your photographer to have this to be allowed on the premises) as well as Public Indemnity (image loss due to theft / technical issues). This will allow you to enjoy your day knowing that your covered against all mishaps (*touch wood this has never happened!). Finally, there are no hidden costs. The prices above cover the entire process of your Wedding Photography which can be up to 30 hours including engagement session, wedding day coverage, image processing and / or album design.
“Our friend’s said they will photograph it for us, why do we need a professional?”:
This is a question we have heard many times and the answer is really simple – a friend or guest is exactly that. A friend. They don’t have the years of experience dealing with wedding couples, experience of the wedding day, the planning, and back up planning, public liability and professional indemnity insurance, plans in place to avoid memory card corruption, backup procedures, back up equipment and the general experience of the role of a wedding photographer. You may well receive some perfectly fine imagery, but there is only one chance to capture your wedding day and we believe that your images should be beautiful and help you to relive your wedding day exactly as it unfolded. It is unfortunate that there is nothing that can be done to salvage poor quality photographs taken by amateurs or friends and your beautiful memories may not be relived through this imagery. In a time of financial uncertainty a Wedding is a large expense, however, choosing a professional Photographer is worth the cost (even if it’s not us!). We would hope that we can offer what you are both looking for, however if this is not the case then our advice is to trust someone who is a Wedding Photography professional and who someone who you can place your trust. Choose someone whose style you like and most importantly someone you’re happy to have present at your Wedding Day interacting with your friends and family. A good Photographer will capture your wedding beautifully: allowing once in a life time moments to be relived over and over again.
