It seems like it was only a week ago since we were at The Met Hotel in the cry centre of Leeds to be Lee & Lois’s Wedding Photographers! Time has flown by and whilst we have been keeping busy with engagement sessions, meetings and more weddings, we know that you’ve all been waiting to see the highlights from the big day!

We started the day of Wedding Photography at The Met Hotel with Lois and the bridesmaids, Lois Mum and Lois’s siblings Colette & Sebastian. Colette you will see has just had a beautiful baby boy, who we were all a little unsure if he was going to be born or not but arrived a week before the big day! So, Colette brought her new baby, what did Simon bring? Picture the scene, wedding day, camera phone, selfies being taken….Going forward thanks to Simon this is now known as the ‘Welfie’ #welfie!

Lee & Lois had arranged a big red double decker London style bus to take the bride and bridesmaids to the church. The ceremony took place at Leeds minster which is such a fantastic wedding venue, it is break taking inside! The ceremony was lovely and we snapped some formal shots outside before going on a tour around the City Centre on the red double decker which was such a fun experience and a great idea for the transition from the church to the reception venue.

We worked in our usual documentary style to capture the afternoon unfolding well into the evening and finally the first dance! We’re sure you’ll agree it was a great day and we caught some lovely moments. Enjoy!
