This evening we have Laurelin & Ross’s intimate country garden wedding at Bishop Burton College in Hull to share with you all. You may recognise Laurelin & Ross from their Levisham engagement session a short while back. We often get asked about our half day wedding photography coverage option and this is a perfect example of what can be covered.

We met with Ross and his groomsmen shortly before the ceremony and had a coveted tour around Bishop Burton College. This really is a unique wedding venue with stunning grounds and a secret garden conservatory for a ceremony room. It was so easy to see why these guys had fallen in love with it. It wasn’t long before Laurelin arrived (in style – see below!) with her mum and bridesmaids; and we were ready to go for the ceremony.

With the marriage signed and sealed, it was onto the celebrations. Whilst everyone was chatting away; we made use of the beautiful College grounds and captured traditional family photographs before heading inside for the wedding breakfast. Here we got to witness an amazing concept – not just one wedding cake, but four! We strongly recommend this. With the guests preoccupied with cake, we stole Laurelin & Ross away for some bride and groom portraits and so they could have a little down time together.

One of our favourite things about a wedding day is seeing all of the people it brings together. With Laurelin originally from US and Ross a local; it was incredible to see such a mix of people joined together to share in their happiness.
