Last weekend Myself and trusty sidekick Hazel, had the pleasure of photographing a couple who feed off each others energy and seem to radiate happiness. Kim Armstrong & Martin McGowan are getting married in March so don’t worry you’ll get to see more of these two soon, but for now check out this gorgeous engagement session taken around the York university campus, where it was feeding time for the ducks. Kim was telling me how Martin and herself often meet up here after work to enjoy our feathered friends. We had some fantastic locations and Kim and Martin are my favourite kind of couple….ADVENTUROUS and up for giving anything a go! As you will see there may have been some tree climbing…..Enjoy!
Martin & I were both very nervous and apprehensive before or engagement shoot – neither of us feel comfortable in front of a camera. This turned out to be a very good reason for the session! We quickly began to relax and actually enjoy ourselves and I know we will feel much more confident on the Big Day having had the opportunity to “practice” a bit! Chris really put us at ease and made the day fun and I feel that he really brought the best out of us. We are both so happy with the photographs, they really are beautiful. I would really recommend having a pre-wedding shoot to help you feel more at ease on your wedding day and give you some lovely mementoes of being engaged!
