We met Cheryl Simon over in Clitheroe last year and had a great time catching up with them on their fantastic Clitheroe engagment session! Last year after we had met them we went to the local – Sawley Abbey Ruins for a little explore. Cheryl Simon told us that they actually wanted to do their engagement session here so we headed over to Clitheroe to capture their Lancashire Engagment Session at Sawley Abbey Ruins.

Simon was slightly nervous (as like myself, he isn;t too fond of having his picture taken) but they both got into the swing of thigns very quickly. The engagment session is a great chance for you to get to work with us for the first time (we would have normally met you at a pre wedding meeting beforehand) and build up a bit of a sense of ease with us. We like to refer to the engagement session as an experience rather than a few casual portraits. It gives you (and if not more importantly – us) the opportunity to create some fantastic images but also for you to experience being photographed before your wedding day so it’s slightly more normal, and also we can see how you behave in front of the camera.

As I’m sure you’ll agree Cheryl Simon’s images here at sawley Abbey really show a sense of happyness with each other and you can even spot a few giggles in there at both Hazel’s and my very own side splitting jokes and wit! Enjoy!
