We’ve just recently started to see the sun again after a long winter and no sooner has wedding season come back around again. We kicked off the start to our Wedding season with a relaxed York city centre engagement photography session with Sally & Mike.

When it comes to your Engagement photography, a city centre is often overlooked for several reasons. We guess the majority will think that it is busy and not very picturesque compared to say a woodland trail, national trust grounds etc but we hope these York Engagement session photographs will show you just how awesome a city centre Engagement session can be!

Sally & Mike were very cool cats and got straight into the swing of things when we met them at the York Castle Museum. We walked around the York city centre capturing shots when a place or certain type of light caught our eye (the camera geekery in us!). We sought out some quieter parts of the city centre to capture some images you won’t see on every other York Wedding Photography blog (we obviously couldn’t ignore York minister!). Sally & Mike were a pleasure to photograph and we can’t wait for their wedding at Sally’s parents house! We hope you enjoy looking through the images.
