It seems like only yesterday we were at Rachel & Steven’s Woodlands Hotel wedding day in Leeds – it’s hard to believe that it was also Hazel’s birthday (for which Rachel presented her with a celebratory tea light!).

We began the day at Rachel’s parents house in Dewsbury to capture the bridal preparations where Rachel, mother of the bride and the bridesmaids were all really relaxed and enjoying the pre-wedding celebrations. Before we knew it, it was time to head over to the church in Whitley – St Mary & St Michael Whitley lower. Rachel, mother of the bride and the bridesmaids arrived in a beautiful Austin Princess Vanden Plas (provided by Indigo Executive Travel).

The celebrations then continued a short drive over to a very local hotel to us – The Woodlands Hotel, Gildersome, Leeds. Rachel and Steven had done such an amazing job of decorating the venue. The theme was very rustic with Hessian fabrics, Flowerpot favours, wooden crates and very eco earthy details – there was even a wedding bake off and naked wedding cake!
