York Castle Museum Wedding Photographer York – Chris & Hazel Wedding Photography
The York Castle Museum is such an amazing place to visit even on a normal day. But we have had the pleasure of experiencing the York Castle Museum as a Wedding Venue! It is located right in the heart of York and unlike any Wedding Venue you have ver seen. The York Castle Museum was the setting of Rory & Rebecca’s wedding for which they hired us to be their York Castle Museum Wedding Photographer York City Centre.
As you will see from their photographs, they chose to have their wedding breakfast on the old victorian street, a set made to look accurate and is styled with props such as a horse and carriage and olde style shops and a cobbled street beneath your feet! ow. The Victorian Street features a lighting system which mimics real day light – so when it is dark outside the lights go down and the street lights come one. The lighting makes for a great atmosphere and also for some great wedding photographs as we’re sure you will agree.
The drinks reception is served in the Museum foyer where you can mingle with your family and guests with bubbles and canapés. Then around 15 minutes before the wedding breakfast you are taken on a tour through the museum which leads you through to the victorian street and to the wedding breakfast.
