As the saying goes ‘good things come to those who wait’. This was the case for Rebecca and Simon whose special day was 2 years in the making but was worth every day of the wait.
With one half of this lovely couple a solider and the other a teacher (we’ll let you decide who has the most challenging career!), Rebecca and Simon had a long distance romance. Rebecca made the most of their time apart by planning the most incredible seaside themed wedding with the ceremony taking place at St. John the Baptist, Royston and the reception at the grand Burntwood Court Hotel, Barnsley. Inspired by the proposal, which took place in Scarborough, their wedding day was filled with sand, seashells and the most amazing ice cream styled cupcakes. Throw in a fantastic bunch of friends and family, a stunning wedding dress and a variety of military uniforms; this was everything a wedding day should be. The perfect reflection of a couple, their love for one another and their life together.
We hope you enjoy Rebecca and Simon’s wedding photos!
