We often get asked about the purpose of an engagement session; particularly as it takes place long after the engagement. For us, the pre-wedding photography session is an opportunity to get to know a couple better and catch up on the wedding plans ahead of the special day. This is particularly useful if we first met the couple a long time ago; and this was the case with Lauren and Patrick. We first met these guys way back in early 2016 when their wedding was still very much in the planning stage. But fast forward 18 months and we’re only weeks away from their big day.
Lauren and Patrick chose Yorkshire Sculpture Park as the location of their e-session. So on a brisk October morning we all embraced the cool Yorkshire weather and headed out for a gentle stroll around the grounds. And it was so cold that one of the group had to layer up halfway through the session; gorgeous French bulldog cross, Casey!
So put the kettle on, your feet up and get ready to warm your heart with the engagement session of Lauren and Patrick, plus a cute extra!
