Late autumn weddings and engagement sessions are hugely underrated. As October turns into November, the UK is typically blessed with cool, crisp days punctuated with gorgeous low sunlight – perfect photo weather. Case and point: Abbi and Neil’s autumn pre-wedding photography session in Avebury, Wiltshire.

Last month, the four of us spent a relaxed couple of hours strolling around Avebury henge and stone circles chatting away and capturing photos of the Mr and Mrs-to-be. Our time together was made even more special for two reasons.

The first: we had the absolute pleasure of exploring these Neolithic and Bronze Age wonders with someone with extensive geology knowledge (Abbi!).
